F-105 is completely and utterly pointless.

F-105 is at 10.0, for some ungodly reason when it should be at 9.3, and the F-111 is at 10.3 when it should be at least 11.0. The f-111 is 10x better than the F-105 in every possible way and is only .3 br higher??? What makes the F-105 10.0? The aim-9es? the speed? It doesn't even have a good bomb load.

F-111 is at a good place it litterly only gets good bomb load everything els it has is outclassed as it has AIM9Bs which suck and a gun to defend itself and some flares.
As for the 105 its in a alright spot its fast enuf and can pull G's to doudge some missles and can dogfight if needed and get a base. Not a amazing plane but its ok.

The F-105 on release was incredibly strong, it was either 9.3 or 9.7, I can't remember. This was back during Christmas 2021 mind you, before the hell that is all-aspect aam's came to the game.

It was brought up over the next couple months, and was pretty balanced. It's on par with the F-4C all things considered. Now we have the Su-25, and everything that hasn't been added since then is in the same spot - a good air frame that suffers against missiles it can't dodge.

As for the F-111, it is functionally the exact same plane with a couple more bombs and flares. It could go to 10.7 reasonably, but it would really struggle in Air RB.

F-105 has a pretty decent bomb load. It's battle rating is probably based around bringing it into ground battles.

F-105D is certainly rendered obsolete.

It used to even be good in ground realistic, but ever since ground IR was introduced it made the entire aircraft unplayable in this mode.


In air realistic it's technically playable, but there is no justification for using it. F-104 for example is only at 9.3 and has same cannon with enough ammo (750rnd compared to it's 1000rnds) and is much faster.

And then you have F-111A that is only 0.3 higher (plays in same battles). Has twice the ammo, faster, larger payload and flares that F-105D doesn't get.

Only positive difference is that F-105D gets AIM-9E's, while others get AIM-9B's. Which is NOT worthy trade off.

You forgot to mention the huge speed difference between them. The F-105 can go about 1.10 mach and the F-111 can go 1.30 mach. Also I'm pretty sure the F-111 is fastest plane in the game at sea level.

The biggest problem with the F-105 and F-111 being within .3 br is that they are in the same games 99% of the time and the F-105 cant bomb a base because the F-111s bomb all the bases way before F-105 gets there.
