What I said for the RoadMap 2024 Survey
Lower RP costs for vehicles and a shift towards a combined arms mode.

I have over 4,400hrs logged in your game. In my experience I see these two changes as being the biggest concerns for the enjoyment and longevity for the game as a whole. RP costs can be ridiculous especially when trying to grind more than one tech tree and more than one nation. I understand that this is part of the business model for a free to play game. That being said I think there's a greater profit to be had when you don't squeeze your player base for money through a tough grind; and instead with the massive numbers of vehicles you have in the game, make it more accessible to grind all the way to top tier for multiple nations. This creates an environment that allows the player to diversify themselves in the game inevitably spending more time in-game and more opportunity to spend money inside of the game.

My first change and my second change would go nicely together. Here's my second change. War Thunder has thousands of vehicles across the Land, Air, and Sea. New vehicles are constantly getting added because there's a constant hype train to unlock the next most modern vehicle. What happens when War Thunder runs out of modern vehicles to implement? Will the game die? I don't think so, if the game is actually fun and keeps people around. When they start running out of new vehicles to add the best thing Gaijin could do is hammer down on what they have as a game. Focus on bringing the game more to life with different game modes. Make the game fun and the main game mode unique. Some games have a defining game mode that becomes the sole reason to even play the game. This could be conquest from Battlefield 4 or Zombies from Call of Duty as an example. It seems like such a missed opportunity to me that War Thunder doesn't combine the thousands of Land, Air, and Sea vehicles into one game mode. Allowing for a very unique experience. And one only War Thunder could offer. There's so much to be had there. I understand this was tried but I think what was implemented could be improved dramatically. A game mode like this could easily become War Thunders defining feature and would also incentives players to unlock more vehicles in different tech trees. Aided by my first change this would revamp the environment of the game to be more fun and accessible. Which is eventually what Gaijin will have to do when they start running out of new vehicles; which right now is the biggest thing bringing people back to the game.
