NEW Armor piercing Bombs but whats the advantage of this?

PC1000 or SC1000 booth 1000kg Bombs but this Armor Piecing Bomb has just 158kg TNT and just 8 Meters to destroy targets... the regular 1000kg Bomb has 18 meters.
in wich cases i should use this PC Bomb???
its for Ships?

It’s for getting through ships deck armour, the thicker aerodynamic metal casing let’s them break the speed of sound if dropped from high enough and remain intact to detonate inside the ship, rather than a larger blast from a general purpose bomb which will detonate on contact with the armoured deck with little chance of reaching critical ammunition or engines below the waterline under multiple layers of armour thicker than any tank

Edit: I’ve not actually tried any of the new ones out so can’t speak to their effectiveness, armour piercing bombs aren’t actually new but the only one we have had for a very long time was the Japanese 800kg which was largely useless

I've sank 8 large ships with the 800KG . Been shot down 34 times out of 40 missions. Cannot say how many of the 40 were Air RB bombing bases but pretty sure I have sank every ship I actually hit. I like to target large ships sitting still behind islands.
