this needs to change

vehicles higher tier are so expensive then you need to train a crew for like 300,000 and its stuck in that one crew slot, its just a lion sink and there is no real reason you cant just put your vehicles in any slot... we should be able to move our vehicles from slot to slot without spending millions just to make another lineup of vehicles we already grinded out and paid for AND paid to be able to crew.

PLEASE even if you keep the crew training cost just make it ONE time lion payment and we should be able to move them to another slot, Gaijen talks about full lineups this and that yet its only hurting the players the way the system is with 0 gains except people buying lions from the store to train the crews

training a crew slot doesn't even make sense as after a match that crew is likely Dead.

Yeah so you need to retrain for each slot with whatever the crew train cost is, which is insane price for the higher tier vehicles

its a money sink, players who have been at this game for up to 10 years now for some, and have been keeping up with new releases of top tier vehicles as they come out inevitably build up immense stockpiles of silver lions.

ammo, repair and crew train costs are all repeatable and even then fail to keep it in check which is why we get the silver lion gambling with such low odds. sitting on tens of millions of lions is far from uncommon

inflation is a thing regardless of real or constructed economy and in order for prices to matter to the mega rich gaijin needs ways to siphon money, ie if you have so much money you never have to look at your silver lion balance again something is wrong with the economy

whether these are the best ways is a whole other discussion but there is very much a reason, we have had plenty of discussions on it you should be able to find with a simple search.

its the same reason the occasional cries of 'remove repair costs' are laughable because without anything keeping silver lions in check these people are essentially calling for the removal of silver lions entirely when everyone inevitably becomes silver lion billionaires which removes one of the revenue streams keeping this game alive.

Thus any call to remove a cost is incomplete, silver lions need to maintain some meaning for long term players, the best example i could give would be pivoting the whole system with extremely expensive cosmetic items costing in the order of millions of silver lions. Hardly a perfect idea in itself given i care little for such things but im certain it would be popular for many for such things to be earnable through grind, while the whales can still blow real money for their bling

It's intentionally designed silver pitfall to extend player grind.

Frankly im a bit shocked Gaijin actually did something nice with some of these economy changes. Considering they primarily been punishing players, to push them towards premium.

yeah before the last change at 11.0 BR i was actually losing lions on average per match due to the repair cost! even with premium account

thats why im saying about only a fee for one , most people will just leave the vehicles in that slot so its not anything to do with having to many lions, also its not a game where there is economy with lions or "gold" like in world of warcraft or MMORPGs like that with player trading for in game currency , maybe when it was Germany and Russia only with tanks up to the Tiger E sure yeah the game was hella slow to grind and it worked, now you can out grind your lion income by playing more then one nation

im 11.0 ground russia and USA, almost there with japan and at 8.3 for sweden so its just annoying having to stick to one grind after 9.0 because of the cost of vehicles

again im fine with paying for crew training but only one time and be able to use your whole bar its pointless imo and a money sink as you stated yes but for no in game reason. there is like over a 1000 vehicles in the game at the moment lol

Think about it this way, a player only plays one nation and will never play another, they finish off the treeand all the lions are gonna do is go up and up, at a certain point lions aren't even a thought for them. lions are there just to be earned and unlock other things in game if the player is content with what they have its not an issue and it could get up to whatever the lion cap is but makes 0 difference to that player or any other play and it has no economy to mess up with them being so "rich"

You could just spend 1000 USD and get all the lions you want but thats what gaijen wants

Just plan where you put the Vehicles.Im playing since 11 Years and even got the 11. Crew slot for recruiting people. Its a thinking game.Makes it even easier to switch out Vehicles after BR changes if you just plan ahead.
