Is there a count down timer that count how many days you been a good boi then your past violation will be erased? so you get to violate 10 times again etc
I got a full month chat ban with no warning after 10 yrs of playing. There is no rhyme or reason to it, just get enough salty people to report you and it happens.
Don't see the need for it anyways with the chat cooldown and blocking function, offense is taken not given.

If you take 5 minutes and read our rules, you will know, that chat is not a place for discuss politics. But that require to actually read the rules. Which majority of ppl, who break them never did. And then they come here and make up things like "I was chat banned for saying <<Hello>>".

No one cares if you were reported by 10 ppl or by 1 person. As long as you did not break the rules, you will not be punished.
So if you got chat ban = you break the rules.
As previously, don't be shy, share your in game nickname and we can discuss your chat bans.

Didn't say I "didn't break the rules", I'm saying the rules need not exist given the tools players have to ignore spam or things they find "offensive".

Also one can find literally anything offensive, I can make a whole sperg about how your post is offensive but it would of course be ignored because hey rules for thee not for me.

We do not punish for typing "Good luck everyone". Please do not spread such false claims. Feel free to share your in game nickname, I can check the reason of your punishment, so we can discuss it.
Sure thing: Ruse_tiger. It would be just before the chat went down for the war in Ukraine. I can't quite remember how close (exact date wise) but I'd love the check, my understanding is that you're not allowed to ask for the reason of a punishment in online games unless you are a well known or sponsored content creator though so I hope this doesn't get you in any hot water.

Edit: any chance I could get a check on a hacking/bot claim from over the summer? I'd just like to know if the squadron that claimed they were reporting me did so or if it was an empty threat. I've heard there is a number of reports quota that once it is filled you get an instant ban for illegal game mods. Could just be a made up thing though as I haven't seen it officially written anywhere.

They are saying they pissed off enough players in the match with what they were typing/doing that they instantly jumped from violation level 1 to violation level 5 without any prior warning or violations over the course of 10 years. It would have been better to add an extra sentence or two to flesh out what they are saying but it is in there.

Your account is clean. Are you sure you typed your nickname properly? Capital letters matters.

Sorry, we do not provide such data. We publish a list of banned accounts every few/several weeks, and after two weeks this list is cleaned.
You can always check specific account on our website here: https://warthunder.com/en/community/searchplayers/
If player is perma banned, you will see [Banned] mark near nickname.
Please be aware, that there can be display error, so to be sure, try to check player on EN and RU interface. Bug should be solved (an was fixed) since some time, but it's better to double check on both interface, because bugs are bugs, you never know when they come back :)

Huh... thats really weird. I should have one chat ban violation and a couple of illegal game mod reports against me (prior to the more recent ones that I asked about from a 4 player squad which said they were reporting me for being a bot and wall hacking on that newer arctic map). Do those get wiped after they are checked and found to be false or malicious reports? Also no the account name is accurate, just double checked.

Edit: and 2? illegal activity reports, helping enemy players during a match (I forget the exact name of the report), both were for conversing with the enemy team and helping to recover their vehicles after they flipped.

Can you get into trouble for helping enemy that is flipped? I've done it more then once. (they never repay by shooting me) At least not right away

I've done it dozens upon dozens upon dozens of times. Once in a while the enemy player will kill me immediately after but generally we all go our separate ways or I tail them to a cap so they can re-crew if it's needed (they fall into water or something kills their crew members) and then I recap and again we go our separate ways. It's a bit of a grey zone apparently as you technically are supposed to kill or try to kill any enemy you see so helping them especially going out of your way to do so can be used for a report but I've never been punished for it and I don't think anyone working for Gaijin would see what was happening in the match and go "yep, let me grab my ban hammer.". The report is for "Passive behavior", found it, and it's more meant for like a player that simply drives/fly/sails endlessly around a map like its a race course and ignores the enemies and the objectives or is cooperating with the enemy team to farm SL and RP and game the system (trading caps over and over without shooting at or fighting each other for example) or sit just around and talk (which is what custom servers are there for and should be used for instead of live matches). But from what I've been told it's loose enough that you can take any passive or cooperative behavior as a reportable offense and force some poor person at gaijin to review it.

I warn players when they try to work deals that it is considered match fixing and is ban offense. It happens quite often actually. That depth charge kill challenge saw a lot of it.

That page that gives player stats does not seem to keep track of naval over a destroyer. It is way off on my totals.

Yep, Naval, Air realistic and SIM is where I see the most of it. Which is saying a lot as it is nearly every match I play in for those 3. But even then, a simple cap swap, constant comunication to prevent friendly fire, tailing bombers and attackers to let them get their payloads off before striking them down and helping people during a challenge rarely ends with a ban it seems though the threat is still there and I'd have to assume a record is kept of how many times and how frequently a player is reported for doing it.
