Aircraft in Ground Realistic Battles

Hello,

Apologies for the rather dumb and likely obvious question, however, I was just wondering how I can play Aircraft in Ground Realistic Battles? I try and make a new Preset and put both tanks and planes in, but I'm unsuccessful in having them combine in one Preset. Is it the right way to do it and I'm doing it wrong or is it done some other way?

Any help is appreciated, thank you.

Thank you all for your help, it appears my time playing doesn't reflect in the knowledge I have over this stuff I just tend to focus on each vehicle type individually and have recently gained interest in combining their use. But I really appreciate everyone's help so thank you all very much!

You should be able to put any type of vehicle into the same preset, how are you doing it?

Did you check your filters when selecting vehicles? You might have something unselected.

Are you sure you're not queuing into Ground Arcade battles? Your selected game mode may change when switching between presets. Also, you must spawn ground units in order to accrue enough spawn points to spawn in an air vehicle

You have 5 or more crew slots. You should be able to assign tanks to slots 1-3 and a plane on 4 and 5 and have access to them in battle. Fighters and bombers get different SP costs, so a fighter won’t double the cost of a bomber.

select the vehicle in your research tree and select choose crew its better to have the same crew slot selected for the vehicle you choose from whichever preset you play tanks or planes in.

example bf109 crew slot 1 aviation is the plane you wish to use so select it for crew slot 1 in your mixed preset to keep their skills and to not cost you money training them.

I always have some naval ships in my preset but never able to use them in ground realistic battles.. strange.

Hi. Not a problem about your question. Others have said but I will explain anyway:

Have more than 1 crew slot for the nation you're playing. Put a tank into a crew slot. Put a plane into another crew slot. Select the game mode "Ground Realistic Battles", when you play this mode, you can use tanks and planes.

Keep in mind that you cannot spawn in an aircraft first: you need to use the tank and acquire spawn points in battle (killing enemies, getting assists, capturing points etc). Once you've got enough spawn points, you can then spawn in the aircraft.
