i don't want to be the one that says it but its not a skill issue on your or my part when this happens.... its definitely something wonky going on... you know what i mean?

It'll happen occasionally, I've pulled off shots like that where I say to myself "oh that dude def thinks I'm hacking".

That being said, this game has ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of hackers too. So, more often than not, its hacks.

How do you know you "weren't spotted". Someone saw you and shot you.

People turn down the graphics settings to remove foliage at a distance, that may have done it in your case.

also you can aim with the binoculars to get a higher/different view. That way im able to kill enemys sometimes without a clear line of sight

turning down graphics/foliage can make it easier to see BUT there is still a ♥♥♥♥ load of bushes and such even on the lowest settings so quite possible a you know what

you cant spot through thick brush, I was near my spawn and I didnt even have visibility. the bushes were deep and super thick.

There are a lot of different reasons that could explain this.

If I can watch someone drive behind soft cover and they don't drive out the other side, I'll sometimes put a shot into the soft cover speculatively- maybe I destroy it and then I or my teammates can see them, or, maybe I get lucky and hit them anyways.

Sometimes thermals can reveal things you would have a -very- hard time noticing without.

Hitting ammo isn't uncommon- How much do you carry? Realistically you should only carry as much as you intend on using. Anything more is just a kaboom waiting to happen if you get hit.

Sure you can. I’ve spotted people through buildings, terrain, entire forests… I have more issues spotting people in the open honestly.

As for the shot, there’s possibilities. I’ve made shots like this where you lose sight of someone, but you know exactly where they are because they didn’t come out the other side or something. It can even seem like hacks if the hit is delayed from you taking that position, but there’s nothing stopping players from holding fire.

I get called out for hacks all the time for this kind of thing. Never been true though.

I wouldn’t look into the ammo being hit too much though. Easily can be just a lucky hit. I’ve had shots from a US 75mm at 1.6 KM go through a KV-1 driver port while shooting on the move. Couldn’t replicate that if I tried, but it happened. So just hitting ammo isn’t that unlikely.

oh yes just to not the soft cover was completely encompassing there was no seeing me drive to it because it was always infront of me from spawn.I should have made a recording. sorry.

oh okay that explains it, I didn't know light tanks could spot through solid buildings and objects etc. that must be how it was done then.. seems like a glitch but I understand now.

Oh yes, I have done that a fair number of times now, shooting into bushes because I knew that the tank was there because I saw it go in earlier. I can relate to what you said.

If youre using rhe russian/chinese type tanks there is really not har to hit ammunition

Yesterday i even shot one. I shot and hit his eigne, he was driving full speed going for a base, he was behind a lot of these concrete fences so i could not see him, only guess bu the position of smoke and atennas, and shot. Hot right by the egde of the ammunition cirlke amd blew up, random shot
