How do i enable two-step verification when the account was made through steam?

Pretty much what the title says. I want to sell some items, but for that i need two step through gaijin, since war thunder items aren't sold in the steam market. Fair enough.

For the phone verification i need to set up email verification first. Seems kinda pointless but sure.

But for the email verification it tells me that i cant do it because i logged in through an external service... Well, yeah, i made a gaijin account through my steam account, i never made a password there.

So how do i set a mail then?

Thank you so much! Although it didn't work. Turns out that my original account made before War thunder was added to steam in 2013 using my personal mail was STILL a thing!
