Why is WT taking so long to add arguably the most decorated battleship class in US history.

I dont know. Why dont they add the Bismarck and Tirpitz? Why not add the Yamato,? Or the Hood? Or any of the other major battleships that participated in WWII. I couldnt tell you. They would be awesome to have, and they would shake up gameplay by a large margin. So I honestly couldnt tell you.

HMS Hood is in game Tier VI Br 7.0
There are ships between what is present and a ship like Yamato. Before Yamato it would be Nagato/Mutsu

UK has 3 Battleships and 4 Battle cruisers. Hood is considered a Battle Cruiser not a battleship
USN 5 Battle ships 1 BC plus a premium BB
Germany 5 Battleships 2 BC
USSR 3 Battleships 1 BC plus a Premium BB
Japan 6 BB (although 2 were actually BC)
Italy 3 BB
France 2 BB

There are an incredibly high number of WW1 battleships that can be added, in addition to some pre-dreadnaughts that would be fun. But Gaijin is racing to modern ships way too fast.

There are an incredibly high number of battleships they can add that are WW1, also pre-dreadnought BB would be really cool too. I really don't like the fact that you have to progress from frigates, to destroyers to BB. They should have started with much older ships.

Ah not quite a necro just a mostly dead not a totally dead. It is only 1 month old.
And it seems they are adding Nagato
Although I feel premium battleships are a bad idea. At least until they cure the bot issue

Though I do understand peoples problem with them as someone who brings a destroyer to BB matches bots are just free kills, I once splashed half the enemy team with my opening salvo of type 93s in a conquest

Edit: Even in actual gunnery fights having ‘perfect’ aim is not the advantage it is in ground modes, shell travel times above 10 or even 20 seconds mean there is a level of prediction involved which is easy against a bot that doesn’t manoeuvre, but for the bot predicting my turning in just doesn’t happen, even if I’d done the exact same thing the last ten times, something no human would fail to notice

The largest issue I have with bots is they take up space on my team. Honestly I hate bots on my team more then I hate them on the other team.
(I don't mean the honest bots) (I mean the scripted bots)

Noo, there were dozens of WW1 BB and BC that are not represented and should be. There were a lot of scrapped designs due to the Washington Treaty that could be modeled, the Lexington BCs. We need more of those ships. We don't need a race to missile boats.
