T1E1 has no business at 5.3

title speaks for itself, at 5.0 its armor was at least somewhat good sometimes, now at 5.3, its gonna get one tapped by everything, rendering the label "heavy tank" as just a pretty label, which means nothing

the point is it doesnt matter if tigers and panters went up, because the armor is very good, unlike on the T1E1, which has no armor at all and only can tank calibers smaller than 75, like a T34-57 for example, not to mentiont with it being 5.3 its barely ever gonna get any uptier matches, and i do agree the jumbo is bad, and it shouldnt have been touched either

Yup, it wasn't even that great at 5.0. Apparently having a reverse gear is worth .3 BR now.

Thats "listening to feedback" for ya, i dont think that the T1E1 was even listed as a potential future change in br in the sheet

Borderline everything that had any semblence of armour got uptiered.

Personally, I still think the Jumbo with the short 75mm at 5.7 has it the worst.

Some people complained about the Tanks their tanks would face after the uptier, and what did they do? Uptier those Tanks too. IS-3 and IS-6 for example weren't even planned to be uptiered until the "We listened to the community.".

The only thing this did was compress 6.0 - 7.0 and basically remove quite a few lower tier lineups.

Look at the Turan II and III. They're .3 BR higher than the German equivalents because they can reverse and use the engine as armor. Maybe you should try that in the T1E1?

I could see having a good reverse speed as being worth .3 BR, but otherwise I agree. These BR changes seem almost deliberately harmful to the game. Time to take another look at those reviews.

That does fully sound like a reason to be worth 0.3 BR worth. BR compression is the only reason why that wouldn’t be the case. There used to be a time where 4mm of side armor and a little bit of turret traverse used to qualify as a 0.3 BR difference…

The problem is, this "heavy" tank now feels like a light tank that doesn't have any light tank qualities, because now its slow, big, and with the br increase its barely good armor is made completely usess

Just turn the T1E1 around, the engine is pretty much equal to 10000mm of armor

Skill issue. You're the one crying about it going up even though it'd be completely fine. Do you also think the Turan II should be at 2.0 with the Panzer 4 F1 or does just America suffer?

Right, except my experience shows that tankıng with the rear is equally useless, because everything as easily pens you into the turret
