Does Buying New Vehicles Allow You To Use Them Right Away?

If I where to buy a premium package that included an upgraded vehicle in a much higher rank that I have not researched yet can I still use that vehicle or do I just get to look at it until I pay a 100,000 silver lions do research or to train a crew?

Yeah. U can play it right from the start. But if u get something from steam, make sure your war thunder acc is linked to your steam account if u didnt install it from steam. Caused some problems for many getting the dlcs from here.

You get it as soon as you pay.

To use it you may have to pay the basic crew train cost.

To make good use you have to pay the expert crew train cost.

To really make good use of it you should have more vehicles at the same BR to round up your lineup.

You can play any premium vehicle after you get them either via bundle packs on the gaijin store/steam store or via GE (the premium currency). You can play the marathon events and get vehicle coupons that you can sell on the marketplace in order to make GJN coins that are also suitable to buy vehicles, GE and premium account subscription on the official Gaijin store.

Yes, you will be able to play with your tier 6 premium even if you only have reserve vehicles for that tech tree, you will only have to spend 10k SL to put said vehicle on a crew slot. Notice that premium vehicles will allow you to research faster and in the occurance that you buy a tier 6 premium vehicle, they might even allow you to skip whole tiers (e.g. if you buy a tier 6 premium tank you will be able to research all tanks of said tree without any penalty in xp gain, allowing you to only play vehicles that you want to play), meaning that you can completely skip tier 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 if you are only interested in more modern vehicles.

BTW. if you are new to the game, perhaps you should first play a bit until you are in the 3.0-4.0 BR range. If you like none of the gameplay there, maybe you shouldn't buy some premium, since you might regret it later on. If you play only to reach top tier and shiny MBT's you'll get frustrated with the grind, so you should at least enjoy the gameplay before that.

You can use it instantly, however you still have to pay to crew it. AFAIK it's only 10K SL at most though.
