Hi guys, 4th battle and my Leopard 2PL fully researched is not giving XP to my Panther 5.3.... did snail nerf the squadron vehicles ? So they want us to purchase premium or grind hard with normal vehicles?

You get drastically reduced RP if you research outside a vehicles research bracket but overall squadron vehicles just act like any other standard tech tree vehicle etc.

i think he meant that flying out squadron vehicles dont give good rewards toward tech tree vehicles

i think he meant that flying out squadron vehicles dont give good rewards toward tech tree vehicles

Yeah and it's because they are trying to research a rank 4 vehicles with a none premium rank 7, that reduces the RP earned for vehicle research by 90%! Squadron vehicles just act like normal tech tree vehicles eg they have no RP or SL bonus etc...

Normal tech tree vehicles in rank 7 research lower tier vehicles like rank 4 for example more effectively than rank 2,3, or 4 would. but they become ineffective at rank 8

Man I have whole SSSR and Swedish tech tree... I was just saying that 2 weeks ago Leopard 2PL full researched with talisman/token was giving 730% RP, 2-3 battles and had Tiger 1, then 2nd tiger 1, I came back after 2 weeks pause and Leopard PL giving 500RP +- to Panther even tho I earned around 14K in battle

I see ... that must be some new then am I right? cause as I said in my answer before, I was earing 10-15K RP in battle and EVERYTHING went right into low rank vehicles (Tier III to be accurate). Now it is not working as before

Earning decreased RP on stuff a few tiers higher than what you're using has almost always been a thing

No it is not new and no u can't research that low with a squadron vehicle because they are treated like any other techtree tank in terms of researching tanks and that's a fact, sry for poping your bubble but thats how it is and it is at least so for the over 1300h i played the game.

I think that the rp you though you were getting from the games was from the modification bonuses. the rank research penalty has existed for a long time

This is exactly what OP's 'issue' is.

OP since you have finished researching all of the Leopard PL2's modifications you will now only see the RP you are earning towards whatever vehicle you are researching and as you are using a none premium rank 7 vehicle to research a rank 3 you will lose 95% of RP you earn. It quite clearly shows you (obviously not enough for some) how much 'modification' RP and how much 'Vehicle Research' you earned in a match separately in the end of match results screen, how did you never notice that?!

These kind of issues are why players shouldn't be able to easily pay their way to the top when they don't even understand the basics etc. So many of the complaints over this game tend to come from just not knowing wtf is going on or ignorance...
