I'm starting to regret this game

I started this game in 2017. and i got to a certain level without getting premium. And I supported the game with 3x 25k ,10x 5k , 16x 2.5k, 42x 1k , 97x 150, 17x 500 Golden eagles to make the game better. I played the game for more than 9200 hours. At this point, I started to regret these things. Progress in the game is in a much more difficult place than when we started. The game is currently unplayable without premium. It takes almost 5-10 hours to research updates for tanks. It takes weeks to research a vehicle. I'm so sorry about this game. a complete disappointment

I wouldn't regret the video game development you have no control over, if I were you, I would regret the TIME you spent, which is roughly 5 years Full Time Employment in hours.

Or full time self-development. Full time learning other skills - actual, real skills, not fake video game skills.

I say this to myself as well, an avid Gamer since the 80's. As a general barometer, I think if anyone is topping 20 hours/ week in video gaming, SOMETHING is wrong in your life. Even if you are disabled at home, there are ways to get out of the house available to you.

non-premium user here that started the game in 2014: The game is totally playble as free to play if you know what you're doing.

That said, I only have around 4000 hours...so I'm probably a noob compared to someone who played 9000hrs in such short amount of time...

Guys don't worry he probably just let the game open all time on his computer lol ! But anyway he's free to spend his time how he wants to. It is indeed just not fun playing the game right now. I do need some progression in the game.

Right now the SL system is just dead...even with a premium account, premium vehicles and skills it's way too long right now. The worst thing is that after 1-2 kills it gives nothing to respawn. A nuke used to give you around 200k - 300k depending on multiples factors. Now you get 100k.

good point, I hope it was mostly just a waste of electricity and not excessive hours of human life potential sunk into video game addiction.

I've never disputed if someone is free to spend time as they want to. A criticism of an addiction and reminder of alternatives is not an attack on the person's freedom.

I'm still having fun and positive SL / RP into Rank IV USA air. Once that hits the wall, I'll switch to other nations if I still want to War Thunder.
