be aware many of us consider it a very bad idea for newbies to buy into later tier premium vehicles, your average opponents who got to those vehicles the hard way are going to have hundreds if not thousands of hours more experience than you
But when you buy it dont play it as bomber that is a wrong playstyle that many tend too.
And NO F4-S that puts you directly in Toptier with F-16 F-14 Mig-29 and Radar missiles. Thats only really for experts or you get frustrated.
And then do a few testflights to get used to the plane and its weapons ...
And yea OP, as others have suggested I too would say wait a bit, join a squadron and start researching one of the squadron jets first of all(A4E would probably be my advice so you're not thrown straight into all aspect missile hell). If you do want to buy one in the end, wait for the sales, there's really no good reason to buy these things full price. Also test drive all the premium planes you might have any interest in so you get an idea of what they feel like and what kind of firepower etc they can bring.
Also perhaps watch a bit of top tier gameplay on youtube or through random replays to get a feel for how the gameplay is. I personally like jets but not so much the absolute top tier, too much BVR for my taste, I like close up gun fights.
To somewhat backup my point tho I'll say that to use the hightier planes(or jets in general) without constantly blacking out because of the over G you'll need an expert crew to make it more bearable, which, for example, on F-5C it costs 1.5mil. On A-4E you suggesting it costs 970k. Or have G-tolerance and stamina maxed out before that. It may not be important for prop engines but it is for jet engines. So if OP wants to buy a prem jet he must also consider this into account before buying,
