3 kills with dying in a strike aircraft

I normally get 1 or 2 kills easy in my tanks. I will switch over to my plane, but when ever I want to fly my planes the enemy always twice the amount my team has. I get 1-2 kills with my plane fine, but always get focused by enemy air and AA. This challenge has brought nothing but pain to me. Any help or tips would be great.

I always do the more awkward air based challenges in arcade air, far easier to get a decent kill streak etc. For that challenge i just made a lineup of a few strike aircraft at the lowest BR i could and went ham, got the challenge done in 2 sessions lol

Plane kills count in ground mode.
Try to focus on enemy CAS, ground targets are secondary.
IL-2 is great for this.

Ground RB is more realistic than Air RB because no cheating enemy indicators on plane, you can even shoot down P51H and F2G with HS 129b3 by stealth attack
PS: I forgot to say, I did this easily with FW190F8.... yes, it's a strike fighter

Challenge is broken anyway. I'll just quote what I posted about this task in another thread.

This BP challenge was super easy because it's broken. It's a cut-and-paste with find/replace from a previous season challenge that was also broken in the same way.

Firstly here's the challenge text:
"Destroy 3 player vehicles without losing your own while driving a strike aircraft a specified number of times" with the specified number being 10

Now, this suggests you have to get the streaks 'Triple Strike' or 'Multi Strike' ten times in order to complete the task, which is not the case as IT ACTUALLY COUNTS YOUR KILLS when you get the streaks.

I completed this task in two matches which included only three qualifying streaks in under 20 minutes. Here's what happened:

I selected my go-to daily task preset for 'kill x ground units with strike aircraft' tasks and set it to Air Arcade. Germany around 3.7 BR 2x BF110, 3x Me410 and a Hs 129.

Remove all bombs and select all extra guns, set all to 'Air Targets' etc for maximum minengeschoß funnage. Lead with the 110's and take a very aggressive approach from the off, which can catch people out sometimes.

Match 1 - a 3x streak and a 4x streak with the the 110's. The challenge text suggests my task completion should be 2/10 now with these streaks, but it wasn't. It was 7/10. There where no other streaks that I missed. It counted the kills from my streaks towards the completion.

Match 2 - several 2x streaks and one 3x streak with a 410. The single qualifying streak again counted the kills towards the total. I was 10/10 at the end of the match and received the challenge award.

There you go, 2 matches, task complete, in around 20 mins. I cant believe that the devs intended this to happen, it's just some lazy coding and minimal testing.

I mean, I got it pretty easily just naturally playing my Me 410 with the 50mm cannon. The APHE shells in the default belts are great for killing T-34s and Shermans while the HE is great for SPAA and other open tops like the M10. Great CAS plane.

Otherwise, just "cheese" it in air AB.

Try sitting farther back, Your team should have the same amount as the other teams though.

I've tried that. The problem there is I would only one on my team in a plane against 3-5 planes and aa.

I've tried that. The problem there is I would only one on my team in a plane against 3-5 planes and aa.

A lot of it comes down to timing. You have to get that early kill then bail. Can't keep going in the tank, you want to be the first one in the air. The aircraft you pick also is important. You either want something that is fighter-capable or very capable at defending itself somehow. I do work with the rear guns on the 410, so I love that thing. Another good idea is the A-36 or whatever fighter USA has with the extra gunpods people like.

-Don't do 3 kill in 1 go. You can finish it in 1 life per game. You can replenish bomb or repair plane and comeback to kill more.

-Use light tank to spot and gain SP reduction. You can get plane with better setup faster.

Don’t know man when I was doing the challenge I averaged around 10 kills with the strike plane. Turns out you can get credit for getting 3 kills more than once in a mission. Did it in 2 missions as well.
