Looking at buying my first premium tank: Leopard 2 PzBtl 123

So I love the Leopard 2 and I never use premium time. I was thinking that if I buy the Leopard 2 PzBtl 123 I could enjoy playing that tank without having to worry about losing so much money. Is this a good idea? and is the Leopard 2 PzBtl 123 play the same way the Leopard 2A4 does?

Depends on how well you perform. A premium will net you more profit, but ultimately it will come down to user performance to determine what, if any, profit comes from it.

Leopard 2 PzBtl 123 is essentially a Leopard 2A4, it is practically identical. Rank 6 battles are tricky and there is no guarantee of success or profit, even if you have the Leopard 2 PzBtl 123 and premium, most of it boil down to individual performance.

Also remember that it is only a 2A4, in uptiers against T90, T80 with their big 3BM60 u can expect to loose your entire turret + half the crew if they shoot u and they will pen u frontally in the turret, also is your DM23 not that powerfull to battle Abrams from the front u can't even pen their lower front plate let alone the turret front but they can pen yours.
Also do not take more than 16 shots with it or u will get ammoracked if u take a hit in the front left hull.

Last thing, if u want to buy a hightier premium, better take those 50% off deals in the next sale on that half year of premium time, in the long run this will greatly boost your income and on sale it is dirt cheap.

Absolutely do not buy that tank, or any premium vehicle for that matter. Do not support Gaijin until they fix their game and stop prioritizing profit over players

Next guaranteed 50% of is anniversary sale in the first November week. We also have summer sale but it's usually not as good as anniversary (30% instead of 50% or u need to buy 2 packs to get 50%).

EDIT: I didnt notice you already play 10.3 germans. Then go and buy it, it will help your SL and RP gains. Dont forget to bring backups, so you can use maximum of the premium potential

Dont buy it. Rather buy turms. Got both, playing Turms is like arcade smashing. Meanwhile playing 10.3 on geman side is the depiction of hell. Most of time you are going to get so much stomped, that after 2 minutes 5 SU25k are spawnboming, 5 KA50 are firing vikhrs like mad and you dont see anything. Most of your teammes will leave under 5 minutes after start and if you dont have super position, you are dead...

If you want ot play it as join a battle, got killed & leaving - ok you will probably find sooner or later ok battle, but tbh one death leavers .... eeeeh rather dont do that, it destroys the experience for rest of your team.

Trust me, I have been through hell.

Also, I admit.. I am a 1 death leaver because I just love playing this tank as it is my personal favourite tank. Is there any way I can respawn in the same tank again?

Regarding the problem with one death leaving: you can get universal backups from battlepass - even from that free part or by warbonds. Or you can get them from those stealyourSLboxes. I dont say they are free everywhere as snailtards do, but its not hard to obtain some of them. Dont forget to activate them on desired vehicle before battle


Turms is premium T72 in USSR tech tree. It has lower BR, has superior components (which are IRL french thermals and outdatech tech from western tanks) and is easy to play. In comparison to leopard 2 it has lower BR (on purpose, because it fits 10.0 premium russian line, which feeds snail greed for money - like a lot, I am not kidding) + it has scripted higher survivality. APFSD shot at it from any other angle than upfront completely obliteraty any shrapnel + when your ammo caroussel is hit, it might not explode. (that happens often, which is super unreal, your tower should turn into space rocket instantly)

I have premium leopard 2 and turms T72 as well. Turms is easy to play, because your team will almost always have air dominance. Your team will always obliteraly enemy team by endless supply of SU25K and Ka50. And you are just driving and beating everyone else with your superior thermals and better pen apfsds. Because it wouldnt be gaijin if russian premium doesnt receive better stuff than western counterparts xD Best joke ever

Oh... Well the whole reason why I wanted the Leopard preimum tank was because I love the tank IRL and I wanted to keep using it and just not lose so much money playing at a higher rank
