Second worst behavior after Israeli Premium A-4.
On my place number three is F-14A exceeding max speed at low altitude.
Your mileage may vary as controls with instructor somewhat mitigates the onset.
so you need to use your flares alot.
use your air-to-air missiles to fend off the possible aggressors coming towards you.
your priority is to attack planes first and then dropping your bombs on enemy bases.
since your carrying all-aspect IR missiles a few planes at that BR can really challenge you.
your plane is slow, and you might not reach the bases in time before your teammates take them all out.
if thats the case, try to stay alive. the bases will respawn after sometime, so if you can stay alive then you can go for them.
another method is to go for ground targets instead. like howitzers, AA posts and bunkers. your cannon can take them out with easy. don't rush getting into fights, take your time.
and don't take too many loadout, the heavier you are the easier it is for enemy planes to take you out.
remember; a slow plane is a dead plane.
do overload them with high G turns and you should be fine.
airbrake is your friend with Su-25 and other planes.
Use your flaps and airbrakes, when somone is faster then you, dodge and pop airbrakes. Alot of supersonics tend to burn alot of speed when trying to engage low flying cas. When they overshoot you light them up with the guns.
Use your AA missiles at around 4km thats where they are most effective, and remeber they have a all-aspect lock on of around 2km. Meaning you can lock on in a head on and get out of dodge in a jiffy.
A-10 usually arrive late to the fun so if your faceing them, dont be afraid to head them on, they usually only got that 1 scary tank killing Gau, but if you run 4 gunpods + the center gun, you pack a way bigger punch and with the extra guns, you can easiliy make a cloud of lead they can hardly dodge.
Make use of your balestics computer, its a deadly weapon, makes ground strikeing a cake walk. And with the rocket pods you can easy snipe pillboxes and emplacements from 5 km. Also usefull for getting rid of the AI moveing AAA's.
I usually dont run bombs cause they slow me and getting those juicy ground targets and air kills is worth more, especially if you get a nice juicy convoy. You can easiliy get around 20 kills with just guns in one match. (Groundtargets).
Didten get a Air kill and the last enemy is running away? Dont fear! The ground targets is your playground!
Hope this helped a lil
Aka it becomes more of a shooting gallary. And you can just tap fire there ground targets.
But as i said, i mainly just run 4x gunpods and rockets, any will do, but i usually just go with the rocket pods with the most rockets in them.
Adding to this, there's also ballistics computer for bombs, one type, CCIP, gives you the bomb aiming cross that all planes have in arcade, this is activated by default I think. But you can activate CCRP if you bind "switch mission bombing target" and press it in flight with a plane that has this, it will mark the bases and give you a vertical line to aim for as well as a small circle with a smaller horizontal line above your crosshair. When you get close and line up with the center line, the horizontal line will creep down towards the circle, then you can hold your bind to drop bomb causing the circle or line to become "spiky" and once they merge, you will automatically drop the bomb. This works best with drop bomb series though. Doing it this way you don't have to dive to get the bomb reticle to appear and can in fact instead lob bombs if necessary, though that's much less accurate in most cases.
You can also set your own points with bind "activate target point" but you should also bind "deactivate target point" in case you need to manually drop sometimes cuz it wont let you drop unless lined up correct if a target point is active.
If I explaned bad I think Tim's Variety on youtube has a good guide for this.
