idk why people play games like this
He makes some very good points.
The game didn't use to be like this. Gaijin slowly introduced these schemes. They know they cant get away with it because there's literally no other game like this. And unfortunately war thunder has a pretty crappy community. If you go and look at these threads, there are people trying to defend Gaijin. This is insane
only good thing is that even more people hear about this bs i guess.
That's either it's because there is no other game like it. GHPC is not even close to being finished and it's not even the same time of game both just have tanks. WOT is another F2P but it is just arcade with players who play artillery who can shoot you across the map and there's nothing you can do about it. So yeah there's not many options for a semi-realistic multiplayer combat vehicle game with a wide variety of vehicles from ww1 all the way to present day.
"selling battle passes is smart; having limited-time vehicles isn't a big deal"
Yeah no, asmongold can take a fat L here.
Buying a unique limited time vehicle in a battle pass that can curbstomp everyone and is never obtainable again is the most insidious pay2win monetization possible.
He clearly doesn't know what he's talking about.
It's practically the same thing. Imagine that guy who paid $80 just to get this nice new tank at the highest BR for our tier. Now he's 1 shotting me in what amounts to an indestructible fortress. I would say that is the same as paying2win.
Either way you lose and they get paid.
The higher you go in BR the harder the game gets.
If you progress slower the game is actually easier because you still sealclub people in biplanes by the time you know how to play the game.
+1
I don't understand how people get fooled by p2w trash every single time
Pay to win and pay to progress are the same trash, different names but at the end of the day you get the same result.
