Me. F2P since 2015, still plenty of premium from gaming the Gaijin market, never had any issues with SL and as far as I'm concerned, the in-game economy is fine.

its like real life you need money to make money at lest a lot of it if you have money you mostly keep it or stay the same ive been at 1.5 mil SL all the way back from like 2015 and just cuz all top tiers are like 1 mil plus

You know this is how f2p games work right? I can well believe for every player paying and sticking around to make it to top tier there will be many who never make it and give up without paying only to be replaced by the next batch of newbies.

The reason devs open their games up to this sort of player is they provide content for longer term players by keeping queues consistently short.

More active games look more attractive to newer players providing a constant stream of disposable free players and the occasional paying customers who pay these ‘rip off prices’ as some call them because they are subsidising the game for everyone else

Tbh about half a year ago i heard that only 2% of created accounts still play the game.

So ... yeah

I didn't paid for the premium, it's stupid, I don't need to have tone of useless SL to make me feels good.
I bought some GE and premium ground & heli vehicles and use the token to buy some events vehicle which I didn't have time to gain, It's about 100 bucks every year.
But everytime I paid and build for a new lineup on GRB, they will destory it soon, the recently is the funny US GRB 10.0, I build a 10.0 LT lineup and they destory it again. Do you guys really think the 0.3/0.4 BR changing can make the currently funny shiithole ground game more better and fun?
The ♥♥♥♥♥ German bias med tier game use totally 1.5-2.0 BR changing to balanced the game.
You guys never played this game.
And for the funny Ground SB mode, there isn't any balanced since 2 yrs ago, it's totally died and the ♥♥♥♥♥ cheater and scripts premium to gain the ♥♥♥♥♥ ton of RP.
I have played this game over 4000 hours. And you guys never hear about the players.

for everyone saying that 80% not having spent a dime is bs.
do a quick google search for 80/20 rules.
their revenue comes form 20% of the players while there is a good chance the top 1% accounts for 80% of the revenue. the other 20% coming from the other 19%.

it's why f2p games love whales.

Not just that, but the amount of people who have abused the RaF for rewards, meaning 1 paying customer may of had 10+ free accounts for RaF rewards to their main also can sway the numbers easily. Even though they were just acounts used soley to hit a milestone and rarely used again they count, as do the many who played and quit early, or those who forgot old accounts and remade.

The amount of inactive accounts that are used for stats like these are usually quite a large percentage of overall accounts.

Ohey I found the fine print..

*Metrics count every single account that has been made since beta. Metrics may not include people paying lower then a certain threshold. Metrics will ignore inactive accounts that paid in the past. Metrics of whales will be ignored for purposes of skewing how much we actually make. Players who do not agree with us will be ignored.

I've spent 1500EUR since 2015.
The 80% number is probably the true player retention rates AKA 80% dropped after realising how bad the grind is. Because I am pretty damn sure the vast majority of active players have spent at least some money. They are too high on greed and disconnected from reality at this point.

got rank 6 in a few nations, only money i've ever spent was to buy a couple bush packs when it dropped back then and before they removed it for being pay to win
The Curran May 20, 2023 @ 10:21am
i've put more money than i would put into even a paid game for this and still haven't approached top tier

of course we know
Gaijin just spent a whole post lecturing us about it

oh wait we already knew how it worked and they're just coping

That 80% statistic is Bull.
