Taking a break

This is not a "I quit post" and I am not advocating any action for anyone else. I am however taking a break. I feel there are a lot of changes being done that waste developers time that in no way help the community while quite serious issues persist and affect my quality of life as well as those in the community. What really sucks is that I have a fair amount of Premium time and it will just go to waste for a bit. It seems every time I am feeling confident enough to get premium time shortly after the game stresses me to the point I need a break and loose out on it. It doesn't matter because my quality of life takes priority over a game.

Among the top of the list of things pressuring me to take this break at this time are :

Nonrendering tanks
Ghost Shells
Nonsensical economy changes that seem to ignore the entire communities pleas
BR compression
Events demanding too consistent of effort

I get that developers have to use time management to deal with all sorts of bugs and improvements. I just feel that sometimes there is a need to prioritize crucial things that are of significant importance to the game. Some of these things have not been dealt with while major content and tons of fixes still roll out for trivial things. The developers are far from lazy and have done so much work. It just feels like we are often ignored.

I am not quitting I will be back I just don't know how long it will be. I doubt any of these issues will be addressed at all by time I get back but at least it gives me time to relax and not feel so stressed about this game.

Like I said this is not a call of action for anyone to quit, not play or not buy from gaijin. However I do suggest that if issues like these bother you keep posting as respectfully as you can your suggestions and support posts of others who are also making suggestions. I do not know if they will ever hear us out on our issues but all we can do is try.

If you feel stressed by this game do not let yourself be taken hostage by premium time. Just let go.

Hey, I have over a year of premium time and yet, I also took a long break of maybe 3-4 months last year as well.

I have been meaning to take a break to play other games as well. Diablo IV is almost out in any case and I will be playing.

Take care and see you again in these parts some day.

My main issue with War Thunder is that it is too gruelling at high ranks and it takes far too much to research and buy a vehicle and also to get all the modifications.

This game be a lot better if they just fix the grind so if i set down for a day and play i made some move in to the research in to a tree but nope not this game take years to unlock any nice or just pay to get there.

taken me years just to unlock my first county 11.0 tank because i can't play for 25 hours a day 8 days a week if you play for hour or two a day with this grind it take you 20 years to unlock two country trees gaijin pls fix this grind so i can play the game if am pay for premium time i want the grind to go faster that why am paying for

I took a 12 month break, bored of the grind and constant uptiers that meant my ww2 tanks facing stuff from 70's and at missiles. 1st game back after 12 months was full uptier. really makes me want to spend money /s

Been on a six month break and seeing how economy and game has gone increasingly worse over this time it was a good decision.
