Buy gift to a friend

Hello i trying to buy a gift to my friend but i get this error "You can not send gifts to an account that uses a different currency." We are living in same contry and that but i have never get this error before

I'm having the same issue. I'm trying to send 20 days of premium but it says He's using a different currency though we're both in the UK. Using the Gaijin store

Do you use VPN? If your actual country of residence doesn't match with the currency, then you may get this error.

No. Neither of us are using a VPN.

In my opinion, it seems to be not an error but a measure to prevent receiving gifts with lower value in other currencies. Neither one of our whole group used VPN - can't send gifts to anybody except my neighbor. That may be the unpopular opinion, but "the giving end" shouldn't be limited like that if the user uses currency of higher value to pay in comparison to the receiver.
