While Turkey has a few interesting vehicles, it isnt a trees worth. If its seriously going to be added it will be a subtree, but more likely it will be some vehicles getting sprinkled through the existing trees.

Turkey has as big of a military industry as Sweden. They could easily get an own tree.

Its not the size of the military. Its the content.
Sweden developed an entirely unique tradition of tank design.
Turkey, uses NATO stuff. War Thunder has tons of NATO stuff.

In which sentence have I ever mentioned the size of the military?
I have pretty clearly said " MILITARY INDUSTRY ".

Turkey produces their own vehicles and planes.
Just to name a few: Altay, TFX,Tulpar and so on.

Turkey produced and produces as much of a variety of weapons as Sweden and if you look closely, you see that the Swedish tree is mostly covered with foreign vehicles, especially at a later tier, this would not be necessary for Turkey.

If you exclude nations because they use NATO stuff, you would not be able to add any new nation as this is how it rolls...

The Altay does look interesting. However its still prototyping and its going to be years if not decades before public information on its capabilities become publicly available.
Otherwise Turkey uses Nato tanks Leos 1 & 2, M60 and varients, M48 and varients.

Tulpar IFV, a Bradley derivative, that again is in procurement to augment the Altay.

And the TFX going to be, maybe, a modern stealth fighter. In 5+ years. WT isnt into modern fighters yet, and just like there rest of vehicles finding stats for them is going to be challenging as they state secrets.

I'll even include the FNSS Pars, a Turkish domestic IFV.

So, are these interesting vehicles? Sure. Are 4 vehicles worth building a new tree around? No. They will an excellent subtree or more likely event or premium vehicles.

Yeah... I second that, (Hell most of swedens foreign tanks are for their sub tree, similar to britains south african line and both of those sub trees were added years after the main tree, not with it, tech trees release with a main tree only and receive subs later.) I mean if I am being honest, I don't think Turkey has even managed to surpass Israel in terms of vehicles that can be added in game (domestic or foreign) and most of their stuff would end up being event and premium material as its mainly prototypes, especially at top tier, rather than production vehicles. I'd love to have said vehicles, specifically the FNSS Pars, its so chunky and adorable looking:steamhappy:, but, as a stand alone tree I would definitely recommend that it be locked until you have 2 nations to rank 6 to ensure that only experienced players are allowed to drive Turkish vehicles (I wouldn't even allow the premium buy in feature that we have with Israel) as otherwise the lack of lineups would lead to terrible stats and create a pretty annoying headache for gaijin to deal with.

Exactly, so if Sweden or Italy have a tree why not Turkey.

What would they add to the game in your opinion?

Turkish made vehicles and export versions of US vehicles as well as German vehicles.
You probably want to look into Turkish weapon industry.

But it doesn't matter. I still remember years ago, when everyone said " Sweden will never be added " or " France will never be added ", yet they added both nations giving them their own tree.

Same is going to happen with nations such as Turkey.

Eventually they run out of choices and have to add minor nations as constantly extending existing trees increases the grind and is usually disliked with most players.

Both Sweden and France have 80+ years of independent tank and plane design.
Turkey has, maybe 15 years, of which there are maybe 1000 vehicles all told show for it, all of which are IFVs. These are entirely different realms of development.
Poland (which shouldnt be an independent tech tree either) has a better case then Turkey.

a sub tree would be cool for Turkey it'll be in germany prob if ti comes out as a sub tree
