That was not my intention but it seems like you are self conscious about how many Silver Lions you have. For the record, I still have 30+ Million SL, so it was a no-brainer to at least give it a shot :)
Not at all I'm around a comfy 6 mil currently, having given in to temptation of a few boxes here and there but have unlocked ♥♥♥♥ to buy in so many TTs that will run way more than that even on the sale I'm saving it for so trying to keep my inner gambling addict sated without letting it go ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.. I would most likely have spent more than what you have if I had the sums you do but I don't get the need to report on it when 95% of people knew your results before you first contemplated your chance based sHOPEing(Kinda pleased with that one tbh) spreee
Lootbox events in Gaijin games are a scam, plain and simple. Its meant to make you use up your SL so you regret it and pay Gaijin to get it back. Simple as that.
For example, rarest items in CSGO crates (which you can sell back for real money) drop rate is 0.25%. Those things wary from 40 dollars to 2000 dollars in value on market and out of steam marketplaces.
Lets compare to for example, Vehicle drop rate in war thunder. 0.001%. You have 2500 times bigger chance in getting the rarest items in CSGO crates than getting a vehicle (or a million SL) in war thunder crate.
You also have a higher chance to get struck by lightning IRL (0.02% chance) than getting a vehicle (0.001%) In a crate.
Didn't know the actual numbers were available, very interesting! In-game they don't tell you the chance, just show you a side of a dice, which makes it seem like a 1/6 chance- purposefully deceptive it seems like
Someone worked it out... The odds are higher that you'll die riding a motorcycle than you are to get a vehicle of of those things.
It's like a casino, the house always wins!
