Lim-5P tips?

I have a KDR of like 0.1 in this plane. At 9.0 I am facing constant uptiers and it's becoming impossible to upgrade. I can tell the plane is really good but I have no idea how to deal with

1. Terrible rate of fire + slow velocity rounds means missed shots all the time
2. 99% of matches you are facing supersonics and legitimately undodgeable missiles
3. Every plane has a better cannot than you with a higher fire rate

It seems like this plane is no longer good at all. If I survive more than 2 minutes in a match I am almost always just ground pounding because the enemy team is composed of 80% F-104s and there's nothing I can even do. You can tell this plane would be extremely good in a downtier and pretty good at 9.0 itself. However, you can't run down anything in the average match. It seems like everything counters you. The F-86A can even outrun you in a straight line.
