How do you play the olifant mk.1

Its the first vehicle i have seen that is physically incapable of turning when stock resulting in instant engine stall.
Does this thing have any redeeming qualities as i honestly cant find any to the point where i would say its a downgrade from the mk3 centurion which is a full br bellow

Painfully, adopt a sniper style with it as best you can. It has access to APFSDS, but it's a tier IV modification and you'll be stock HEAT, but that and the cannon is it's only redeeming quality.

Majority of the time it was pain, as you need to move quick to get into them good positions, but as you have noticed, it is slower than even the Chieftain Mk V, which is a feat.

I played it as a sniper. I bring it out only on maps that are viable and that I can play hull down. I avoid urban maps. When I see a small map, I usually just quit.

Olifant is a little trickier to play than Cents but if you play supporting roles itll do fine

Follow the british doctrine of fighting hulldown, preferably at a great distance from the fighting line.

I have never seen such a bad amount of torque in a vehicle to the point i actually fear inclines above 30 deg as countless times i have tried to push someone on a hill to have the vehicle start rolling backwards half way.
Drops in the terrain like the underground areas of maps like Middle East by the caps pose a serious threat that you cant actually get out of them

The vehicle is defiantly a experience though im wondering if the rest of the ones in that line of the tree are as worthless

I love my Olifant Mk 1A and also my Rooikat MTTD, I dislike the Rooikat Mk 1D greatly.
