Fron the looks of it, you can scare opponents to death just bu flying over them, due tot he noise

The Tu95 is using an intersting turboprop quadro engine with dual counter rotatives propellers. However the plane is very heavy, so I don't expect it to fly more than 600-700kph in RB. with flight performances slightly better than a B29 TU-4.
I need to take a look at the Tu95.

Cant we just get the Tu-22 instead it fits the game better, and is also easier to balance.
You can easily put it on 11.0 below the Yak-28B.

That's why I said this plane would be a nightmare to balance in the BR he deserve to be.
What you are sharing is a using doctrine of strategic bombing in ennemy disputed air space.
In war thunder it could only end in you the Tu95 trying to fly balls in the grass, till you reach your supply depot target.
No way it could work in WT since the ECM user earning will be.... xx amount of SL Rp per missile missed ? results: nobody will using them.

WT grow so much in vehicle and weapons diversity with good graphics that people want the game to be a somewhat encyclopedia of war engeenering on land sea and air.
But the fact is, the game is design for quick action random battles with senseless cap "circles" on the map, or random frontline, supply depot, strongpoint generator.

Considering the price and the involvement you need to enjoy the game, 1 plane simulator is an intersting alternative.

DCS is interesting for sure but doesnt offers enough planes to satisfy me, i want to have a choice to play what i like and thats only possible in war thunder.

I think the game really lacks some true cold war strat.bomber and we've been waiting for it for a long time. But if Tu-95 is added the B-47 or B-52 should be added respectively as well to equalize both Allies and Soviets. Even if B-52 might better than Tu-95, in some aspects, B-47 should be a somewhat equal match to Tu-95 (but nothing stops devs from adding early B-52 vs modernized Tu-95 to make it equal somewhat)

B-52 suffers from the same negative aspects as the Tu-95, its slightly faster but cant outrun a MiG-23..not even a MiG-21.

Would be far more interested in the B1, B58, XB70, Tu22, Su24, Tu160 etc

Give me something fast over raw payload capability (or in the case of the Tu160 speed and payload with no trade off)

Obviously the poor things would be horrific missile bait with aircraft like the f14 and its aim54s at their core literally designed to shoot them down them as fast as possible

There is no place currently for strategic bombing in WT high tier. Some jets have already huge playloads to deal with the "supply depot" base target. Survivability will be near impossible above BR 9
The Only strategic bombers that could are supersonic ones because they can try to stay away of the fighting but even tho an unoticed bvr missile will be enough to shoot you down.

If you want a similar experience play the B-29 or the Tu-4. Thoses face early jets and you can't even drop your payload once in 75% of them.
