why don't we have a heli tutorial
it shouldn't be this hard to create a tutorial. I have 3 helicopter, whenever I try to use them in training mode I spend at least 5 minutes in controls and quit in frustration and I always mess with plane controls as well which is another headache. Can someone share a keyboard layout txt file or something so I can just make it work?

I don't want to buy a stick just to fly a heli in warthunder :LIS_poker_face:

I found this video quite useful in terms of setting up controls for heli, and getting used to flying.

Pardon a certain amount of elitism here but helis are not a low level vehicle, by the time you get to them I would expect you to be able to figure them out

I mean only people who play them use premiums, probably didn't take them that long to open their wallet for them.
Either way people shouldn't just have to 'figure it out' when they can just explain it.
I’ve always been more the trial and error type, when learning any game my preferred method is ramp up the difficulty and hit my head against the wall until I get it right. Might take a while but particularly in PvP I always figured tutorials are of limited value compared to the school of hard knocks

Fine if that's your personal preference but doesn't mean it's good game design.
Getting slapped out of the air by SAMs and other aircraft repeatedly is going to teach you to respect them a lot more than a tutorial holding your hand and guiding you through a best case scenario, players are a lot less forgiving. Most of your learning is going to be in matches one way or another

I remember when I first tested on out I couldn't get the hang of it. No idea why, I just didn't get it. Tried it again down the line and was like...how the ♥♥♥♥ didn't I get this lol.
