how to shoot through walls?
Just curious.
A death replay showed an enemy shooting through a wall and then a building to hit me.
What kind of ammunition do you need to do that? (And what level vision upgrade lets you see enemies that accurately through an obstacle)?

Any round that isn't HE or Heat-FS etc will go through destructible scenery and not all houses are solid and can also be shot through. The killcam will also not show any shell drop so the round will look like it flew in a straight line from their barrel so that can also make it look like its going through solid scenery etc. Them knowing your location can be just as easy as them seeing you and keeping track of you and waiting for the right moment to strike etc. If you suspect shenanigans check out the server replay directly.

Basically anything that could be considered kinetic eg nothing reliant upon a explosive.

Buildings are generally inconsistent its very much a map by map case.

People use sound to pinpoint vehicles behind buildings(You can reduce your own engine noise from your perspective in the settings making it easier to point point enemys).

Scout marks persist behind cover so thats also a option though they are only a imprecise indicator

More likely then that shot being made through the wall is that the client side death replay isnt accurate. It shows you where the enemy is when you die, not where they are when they took the shot. A small but significant difference when they are peeking around buildings.
the replays don't show arcs of the shot, many times HE or other slow velocity shells will show as being shot thru the walls/terrain/stuff.

also watch server replays for "more" accuracy, clientside replays can be wrong as well or just buggy.

they probably shot you out in the open then moved behind something

Wooden buildings are generally not a hindrence to non-chemical energy rounds (ie AP, APHE, APDS, APFSDS). However, that can be inconsistent as some wooden buildings in some maps are more hardy. Kinetic energy rounds can generally penetrate a few barriers, for instance, a few soft-skinned vehicles, destroying both. :Diplomat:
