Tired of levels 100 coming on low tier to destroy begineers.
Almost every matches I play around BR 3 are filled with level 100 that just keeps bullying the whole lobby because they have way more experience than begineers. It's extremely frustrating as you just can't really do anything against people with 1000 of hours.

So the problem you have is with people with more experience than you in X mode and the skill to back that up, being level 100 is correlation but not causation. I got to level 100 mostly off the back of air sim when the game only had air and I promise you when they introduced ground and navy I was as green as any level 1, even to this day I wouldn’t even consider myself much above average in air realistic, and far below if I ever get dragged into arcade because they are that different. I also know level 100s who persist in being bad even to this day, and level 10s who can thrash them so experience doesn’t even equal skill. Anyone could get to level 100 by spawning into a tank, driving straight forward and firing wildly with enough persistence

As to why people play low tier even when they are that good, to many players the vehicles they drive are just stat sticks and their goal in life is to get the biggest shiniest sticks. Some of us however actually care about what the vehicles are and have our favourites we prefer to play rather than join the drones in their endless grind to the top

If you stick around you can be one of those drones always convinced the grass will be greener if you get into the newest and shiniest vehicle released, driving yourself insane as each time you achieve that pinnacle something new is released to knock you off that perch and send you back to that mind numbing grind. Or you could just stop and try to enjoy yourself

Sure you can, they're using the same vehicles everyone else is, only difference is skill.

Sure it might not be ideal that warthunder doesn't have competitive matchmaking, but you can't just lock experienced players out of playing low tier

Here is the thing dude: Hate the game, not the player. I'm already lvl 100 for some years but I can't stand higher tier. I like to play old stuff so like I said, BLAME THE GAME. If Gaijin introduces a mmr system the server pops will drop a lot so... they will not do it. Also, what is the point of buying a premium if you will not going to be able to use when you get more levels?

Level 100 is really not an indicator of skill, maybe just more time spent. Many level 100s are terrible players.

The tiers/battle ratings aren't like, beginners/not beginners.

It's just different eras of tanks.

You can be a beginner in modern tanks by just buying one.

I mean, I'm a level 100 that plays pretty much exclusively BR 3.0-4.0 and little else. Thing is, I don't have much interest in modern tech and I'm not the biggest fan of the late WWII stuff either. I prefer to play with Shermans, Panzers and T-34s instead of Tigers, Panthers and IS series. Just becomes a game of which tank has the bigger gun and shoots it first. Half of every gun is just LOLpen and goes through anything because those are the only vehicles people play since they're easier.

I prefer the lower tier stuff. Its just more fun. The players typically stay as long as they can and really try. I find the later tiers full of unpleasantness, toxicity and it just isn't fun after like 7.7 where all the tech starts to come in. Thermals see things for you, laser rangefinders automatically aim for you, tanks have full stabilizers that remove the complexities of positioning and peeking and all that. ATGMs, guided bombs and munitions, missiles... all these things make the game play itself. The players don't need to do much for themselves, which removes layers from the game and ultimately (for me) takes the fun from it.

So I play low tier. That's where the fun is for me. I've researched all the things I want, SL and RP are meaningless to me. I just play for fun.

no offense but you have an entitled attitude. there is no reason to expect other players to be low skill level and be upset if they're not. the real problem lies in your attitude and expecting to win against players that are better than you. the problem isn't when your lose. the problem is what you think about it. the level of the player isn't a reflection of skill. i'm better than probably most warthunder players just from my experience with this style of game and i've only played warthunder for 150hrs. what type of vehicle i drive or fly has nothing to do with my skill level. matchmaking or no matchmaking is not positive vs negative as you imply. matchmaking is often a worse experience than no matchmaking. i prefer no matchmaking in games. i've played many games with and without matchmaking and when i played games with matchmaking i hated it. matchmaking has been a negative addition to gaming imo when we're discussing adult gamers. for kids matchmaking is sometimes ideal but it should be limited to games for kids. that way kids who don't have time to play much or are low skill level can have a good experience. games in general should never be designed that way. the limits imposed on adult gamers by mmr systems is a detriment to any adult game and shouldn't exist. so imo matchmaking is only for kids. it's like training wheels on a bike and when it's used it has a similar effect of forcing adults to ride bikes with training wheels because they aren't mature enough to ride without and suffer the consequences of being a poorly skilled biker.

And there are even more new players that are 10x worse than trash lvl100s, whats your point exactly?

The amount of times I see lvl 100s with 25k to 45k respawns at reserve BR... The ♥♥♥♥ economy is the reason why most of the seal clubbers slither to reserve+ BRs. I've met new players that stopped playing because of it.
Black_Fox May 1, 2023 @ 10:23pm
Hey, I'd love to play in high tier with the vehicles I unlocked - the thing is that it's either not fun or outright impossible to play there.
Bu3(SW) May 1, 2023 @ 10:25pm
Seriously lvl 100 means nothing at all. it is just experience and once you learn the maps you can play just as well as they can. IF they kill you from a good vantage point learn from it. Bam suddenly you have knowledge that took them thousands of hours to get.
mogami_99 May 1, 2023 @ 10:26pm
I am level 100 and I still have tanks tier I-III that still need modules researched. I don't have any ground vehicle with more kills then deaths.
FkYoSht May 1, 2023 @ 10:28pm
lvl means nothing but number of respawns does.

Til_Dovre_Faller May 2, 2023 @ 12:16am
