Aiming in third person air RB.
In third person do you aim a little high? I forgot. It has been a while. Any tips?

Yes, your "Zero" in 3rd person isn't 100% lined up with the gun. Would just recommend practicing gunnery a bit in Test Flight to get a feel for it again, or go into a Custom Match lobby and PvP a bit with other players without worrying about repair costs.

Man, I’d love me some flying tanks. Buuuuut… that’s not a thing.

For the OP, it kinda depends on the plane and it’s guns. Lower velocity guns or ammo obviously need to be aimed higher. The angle of engagement also matters. If you’re doing a head on and you’re above your target, you don’t have to aim as high as you would below. There’s a bit too many variables to give you a simple answer.

your "cross thing" is higher than the actual gun sight in the cockpit. However, it matters very little unless you are shooting someone less than 100 meters away. if he is very very close to you aim a little above his cockpit. You can try this out with the 2 P40s in the test fly assuming in you playing US or whatever the AI planes are in other trees. However, it matters very little since your normal engagement distance is like from 600-200.
