No crew voices?

Ever since the latest update, I haven't had any crew sounds in any vehicle.
I've verified files and even reinstalled the game.

Anyone know of this issue and a possible fix?

have you had sound mods in the past? that might be it, the new crew voices might've corrupted

Just get your 2 year old cousin to yell randomly into a tin can behind you. You'll achieve the same effect.

I did have a sound mod, but like I said, I've completely reinstalled the game but this didn't fix it.

Well, did you remove the sound mod?
Simply uninstalling via steam won't remove and files you added manually.

I uninstalled via steam and then manually deleted all the War Thunder files.

Pretty accurate. The new voice lines are terrible. Someone yelling "forward" every couple of seconds while you're climbing a hill quickly gets tiresome, not to mention the "To your vehicles!... Driver ready!" At the start of every match like it's a racing game or something.

One good thing is the fact we now get an accurate range at any distance when scouting, even if it's way beyond the usual max range of the rangefinder... but you get it in the language of whatever nation you're playing, so disadvantages anyone that doesnt speak the language.

Hello, crew voice sound mods are not fully working with the latest update yet. Soon we'll release an update to help with this.

My vanilla crew voices don't even work. I've verified files and even reinstalled and nothing has worked.

Crew voices is still having issues, but they are not always actively talk, I experienced this for a few different maps but works on others

I get that but mine NEVER talk. And if they do it's distorted or it sounds really sped up.

What is your Crew Language set to?

Hangar > Options > Sound > Crew Language

It's at 'Crew Country' right now.
