How to quickly know if your up tier'd or not

i'm just curious how people quickly know this and was wondering if someone can tell me, i play usa tier 3 and 4 but 2 with a friend and i know the tanks and all, but what is a faster method that doesn't rely on looking at a enemy?

In AB you can also just check the vehicles before even launching

In air RB, it's easy, since in uptiear, you have to know about.... 1 plane that shouldn't be there. And it usually is 80 percent of your team :D
