Trum III still worth?

Was thinking about buying the Turm III for a long time. My problem was the BR. Don't think personaly that the Germans have a good 8.0, so asking you guys, is the Turm III still worth?

I avoided it. It is one of the tanks that I simply have no inclination to play. And there is really not much of a line-up for Germany at 8.0. I don't fancy the M48A2 G A2 (8.0) nor the Marder 1A3 (7.7). The DF-105 should be decent at 7.7 however.

I would prefer to form a German line-up at 7.7 with the RakJPz 2, Marder 1A3 and DF-105. Anyway, that is just me.

haha, I can't remember if I have it, if I did, I have never brought it out. I find that I haven't done much for SPAAG in most of the trees, I generally ignore them. I should really work on them some time.

It seems bugged currently. for what ever reason it seems to be immune to nearly all rounds at point blank range.

If you play good enough, just using universal back up to use it twice should be enough most of the time to get some pretty good amount of kills. Just bought it 3 days ago and overall rack up about 150 kills. This tank resonates with every fiber of my whole being.

I think it is pretty fun, pair it with a Puma or a wiesel and a plane or something and it can make a good centerpiece for a 3 vehicle lineup. I have mine in a slightly uptiered lineup at 8.7 but it's still pretty good all around even with a BR increase. Though I would mention that it does not make a lot of SL or RP, if you need to grind money or want to use it for grinding the german tree it will take a while compared to a premium MBT of the King Tiger SLA. However if you just want a fun and unique vehicle that is enjoyable to play then the Turm 3 is fantastic.
