gonna do this options, surely it will help with my eyes issue LOL xD
this is sure make difference when engaging enemies in CQB, so wider screen gonna give more advantage to your field of view right???
this is the problem with me, i use 24" when i see tiny dot moving i must get closer to screen to see it is just windy tree or enemy tank or enemy air or it is just speck of dust on my monitor xD
this
this is the biggest screen for now xD maybe i should use my TV too xD
So basically monitor sure help with spotting enemies from far away and with proper setting too.
nowdays it is considered Retro dude xD
ASUS ROG Strix XG32VC
It's a 1440p 165Hz HDR400 display. It can only do 120Hz when using 10-bit color however...
As long as you're staying above 60FPS average on a 120Hz or better display, resolution is the biggest advantage you can get for this game. Framerate is not as critical as it is in competitive shooters. Going to 1440p or even 4k, so long as you can stay above 60FPS, will benefit you more than going to a higher framerate.
After resolution, then you actually want to go for HDR. It makes it much easier to see unmarked enemies, since there is a greater contrast between the vehicles and the environment. (even to the point of sometimes seeing them through bushes. In aid to this, it's best to play most games in a darkened environment, (doesn't have to be pitch black, but don't have lights on and keep your window blinds/curtains closed) simply because it makes everything on the display easier to see. Optimal ambient illumination level is whatever the minimum is for your monitor. (everything but OLED will have a small amount of backlight bleedthrough, and you can see it when displaying a solid black screen, matching that level for ambient is ideal)
After those considerations, then go for something with better than 120Hz. If you're skipping the previous two recommendations, and getting a 480Hz 1080p display, you're actually going to have a much harder time than you would with even a 60Hz 1440P display. (though never drop below 60Hz, or you're not going to have a good time either)
So it is always an advantage to have higher Hz in the game, because you can see way more clear, so better monitor screen is better then xD
Ed:Typos..
240Hz is feels like seeing IRL man xD thanks for share it dude
i wanna try this setting someday for sure xD
Personally I play on a 2560x1440 165 hertz monitor but I render at 5k 5120x2880 with DLSS set to Ultra for supreme Anti-Aliasing quality whilst still being locked to 165 FPS on a 3080 ti.
This extra crispness makes seeing things so much easier especially in foliage.
For sure, 60 FPS to me is now terrible to look at. - Although I've settled on 90 FPS being quite smooth even though I can tell 165 is much smoother.
If you haven't played modern games on it, have you truly lived at all?
lol
If you're not using DLSS then the best AA option is SSAA 4x which the game does offer.
That is the most superior form of AA (short of 8x, which sadly isn't available) but it's expensive.
