American ADATS
Why is the missile so wonky and doesn't stay on target well or shoot good anymore? When I test drive it no problems, but the instant i go into a match it starts to act all goofy and go all over the place.

Pretty much. They have gone full regard with the Pantsir as it's a vehicle, which's entered service in 2012 fighting planes from the 90s, to make it seem like Russia has great technical prowess, while in truth it's stone-age.

But the prime reason is catering to unskilled RU players and promoting the game back home.

Yup, just watched a video of a Pantsir-S1 operator try to shoot down a storm shadow. From the video, they had a clear lock and it was painfully obvious that the missile fired was completely unable to even remain remotely on target. Gaijin should've added the Tor to the USSR tree, but hey what the hell do I know.

Company itself is Hungarian but the CEO is russian. So I guess I'm not surprised. They just want to kill the game entirely it seems like.

The Roland 3s of the FlarakPz (same as in XM975) were the only incentive for me to still play Germany at that BR despite the mouthdrooling PzBtl123 players. These fly all wonky and like a bus too now. ATGMs were "fixed" too.

i hate to say it but honestly the the best AAs in the games are ones like the LAV-AD and such cause the missiles at least track and fly straight

Just a smokescreen. It's a facade for obvious reason.

In all fairness almost no missiles could since storm shadows fly just above the terrain its very much a worse case scenario for the missile targeting system in the interceptor missile since it cant really tell the ground + trees from the missile.

The Storm Shadow was definitely close to the Pantsir, so I will give it that, but the decision to engage with a missile instead of guns is questionable.

Regardless, I recommend finding the video and watching it, the Pantsir missile was maybe on screen for >2 seconds before flying off in some direction.
