Remove the Object 279 completely

Object 279 is op and trash in anybody's hand.
I always almost kill Object 279 in one to two shots because I am fairly been being abused by them a lot in the past when I didn't knew their weaknesses much.

So I took it out again just now. Every time I was hit they disabled my gun. It took a few hits before it died. Brought in the backup and at long range first hit disabled the gun and immobilized me. so I sat there was repaired by a team mate and before I moved 10 feet the gun was knocked out again. Repaired got off a shot with a hit but no kill and gun knocked out again. Died second time. Used my Pt-76 thingy but was knocked out at long range with one shot. I am not ready for this BR
I parked beside my green teammate and got some points when he killed things. Had tanks on either side but I drew all the fire.

its not really that bad to face so long as either the person playing is bad at the game or the people they are fighting have more competence then the russian army. in a downtier it can be a pain though especially now with many 7.0 tanks having been moved to 8.0 but again so long as you have the right tank and or know what you are doing the object 279 isn't that much of a threat.

Lesson #1 - Don't drive around in hated vehicles.

You know it from naval, pick any of the usual suspects like Helena, Moffet, Zheleznyakov, Prinz Eugen or the Des Moines etc. and you get a big big bullseye on you....

There are a lot of vehicles which are hard to obtain nowadays, be it because they are now time-limited premiums, or fetch absurd sums on the market (got 670 Eros to waste? Go get the Object 279 then), but I don't see any reason why they should be removed altogether from the game.

your gun barrel probably had a ludicrously large hitbox on it, rounds aimed at your turret hull ended up "snagging" on your gun barrel. Taking the Obj 279 into arcade is a diffrent story, nobody knows how to pen you so they simply aim center mass (also make sure to only take the amount of ammo that can be stored in the ready rack plus 1 more since the game models ammo in the chamber)

Just more proof that a majority of WT's players are just utter at the game and when when any minor inconvenience comes along its much easier to just cry and ♥♥♥♥♥ about it instead of learning and adapting your game play etc....git gud you fornicating scrub!
