Liking and disliking maps

How does that system work? It seems like im ONLY getting the disliked maps shouldnt it matchmake you to more liked maps by you? I dont understand it

It's supposed to, but without any hard evidence (Counting how many times you got a disliked map vs. a normal one) there's not a solid conclusion we can draw.

Ban = you will never get banned map.
Dislike = there is a smaller chance you will get disliked map, but you still can get it.

It doesn't work.

I have 1 map on 'favourite', I'm at the right BR for the map, and I haven't played it ONCE since the Royale update.

Banned works, mind.

The problem is that any of your 'Likes' for a map can be outweighed by the other team members having it on ban or dislike.

If 75% of players have one single map on 'like' then you're going to play that map more often regardless of what your own choices are

It doesn't work at all. For example I hate the Hürtgen map so I banned it and I also hate the Sun City so I disliked it but after getting Sun City 4 times in a row ( Remember I disliked it) I got frustrated and disliked Hürtgen and banned Sun City and I immidiately get the Hürtgen map twice in a row. It feels like if I dislike a map I get it even more...

Aside from the ban, I think Like/Dislike is a placebo

You need a premium account to ban maps. Dislike doesn´t work. In fact it feels like one gets disliked maps more often then others. The only solution is to not enter the match, go back to hangar and try again with a different nation.

Literally has made no difference to my game. I've liked 1 map and disliked 3, I get all 3 maps disliked and haven't had the liked map once, since liking

Don´t you need premium to actually ban maps from your rotation?

i do that a lot of times with many different maps depends how much will i get killed by puma incels on these
