Do-335 B-2 is missing two standard Luftwaffe 300 litre fuel tanks !
and sadly it have no GE skins options !
idk but Do-335 B-2 takes forever to get speed am not sure if it's like that or something wrong with it.

Second this

You are right about the flying characteristics of this plane are wrong. It bleeds speed insanely even on the softest turns, like 5° per second, it just loses all his speed, is flat stupid, most planes of the br don't suffer from this, and make the plane way worse than it supposed to be

Might be something that works better with MEC. Seem to recall this is one if the many planes that get hit by the Instructor not managing the engine right.

As mentioned, it should be able to go faster, and I'm sure accelerate faster at that too.

ive seen a whole lot of 'it should be better' but does anyone actually have any evidence? the thing is huge, literally the size of a medium bomber...

EDIT: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/1/1e/Pfeiludvarsummer2013.jpg

for reference that smaller aircraft next to it as an arado 234, and the other one hiding in the back appears to be an he219. neither is small but both look it next to the do335

the thing may be a triumph of aerodynamics for its day but something that monstrously large being a little sluggish to get going and bleeding energy in a turn sounds pretty on point

Perspective in that image matters tho, anyone can make something look bigger when it is in the foreground.

No comparison of fuselage. You see that underbelly fin, that makes it so the Do335 requires a tall landing gear. Which makes it tower over in height but still no comparative shot to assume size difference.

its at the national air and space museum and there are no shortage of pictures... the thing literally weighs around 30-40% more empty
