Yes it is, this game is only about pay2win. Turms completely stomps on any non premium tank in its BR, bushes screw with you and give you an unfair advantage, a fully maxed crew makes your tank 10 times better than a non leveled crew and leveling up crew is pretty much impossible without paying (I play since 2014 and I dont have a single tank crew fully leveled despite me playing with premium vehicles AND premium time all the time)

It's a great glass cannon that can deal with anything it faces with ease but it just can't take a hit, even mg's can ruin your day. Unless you have money to burn I'd just wait for the sale at the end of October to grab it at a heavy discount.

I've got 2 Russian crews at max level and the next highest is a American crew at 143 (only keen vision, agility and free repair to go so not essential skills at all imo ) and I've not spent a single penny on the crews, I just played the game like normal and I've been playing it since 2013/14......so here's the obligatory git gud scrub.../s If you jump around nations it will take forever to max crews out but if you main just 1 or 2 nations it's much quicker etc.

It isnt pay to win if you cant kill the turms you must be brain dead. It has almost no armor and dies very fast if you shoot it pretty much anywhere but the frontal hull. Bushes can be earned for free and I can kill without leveling crew and leveling a crew can be done for free fast in arcade mode.

There is not a single vehicle in the game that's worth it's full price, on sales when they are at 50% off it's far more reasonable

Unironically skill issue if you dont have a single crew maxed after 9 years, or you just have barely played in this time, but why would you say you play since 2014 then?

This argument that "bushes aren't pay to win because you can technically earn it for free" is dumb. The method to obtaining bushes is to grind out the warbond shop to Level 4, then roll lootboxes to get the chance to getting bushes that are actually usable, and you can only do that once every other season.

Not to mention that leveling the battlepass requires you to complete your daily logins, special tasks (for medals), time limited challenges, and daily easy/medium tasks (of varying difficulties) requires a pretty hefty time investment daily for the player to get the chance to get bushes. This should be wholly unacceptable.

Yet at the end of the day, I'm forced to agree that War Thunder isn't strictly pay to win. It's pay for a pretty massive ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ advantage over other players, but the game won't literally hand you a free win for paying money.

Pay to progress faster sure but unless someone is really lazy everything can be earned. Does it take effort? Yes but if effort inst your thing play one of the auto clicker games that way you can just afk instead of being brutally forced to actually hit keys and play a game. I am so sorry you have been so abused. It is shame that developers make people put in (can I say the "e" word again without being offensive? I will but sorry in advance) "effort".
