Getting Skill matters instead of God mode?

Yesterday i killed an IS-1 (5.3) with a Strv m/38 (reserve), only got skill matters, thought it is strange but didn't care much.

Today i killed a Type 87 RCV (8.3) with Sd.kfz.234/2 (3.3), still only skill matters.

Did something happen with that award or Gaijin finally decided to give me the boot :D

Skill matters is “Destroyed a vehicle 2-5 BR ranks higher.”, which seems to be five inclusive, make the difference at least 5.3 and you will get god mode

Never really played around the breakpoint, when I used to farm god mode it was with 2.3 vehicles in 8.0+

I guess they made it "more than 5 BR's (or maybe 6 now)" instead of what they say which is "5 BR's or higher", but forgot to change the description. Still yet to confirm it though.

I know some vehicles are too good but I lack high tier in their countries :-) Only when a friend joins i can spawn a few times. So yeah that limits the... research. Sometimes i wish WT did some things differently.

It's always been +5 BR's.. I've farmed them exclusively in the sav-120..

Thing is I can recall i did with only 5 exact BR's higher, many times with sdkfz/strv, and it says this on their page too https://wiki.warthunder.com/Awards
I'm not one of those uptight morons don't worry, but it just annoys me a little.

/off yeah wish i would had the sav, that thing is really good, once we were winning a round, guy spawned in sav, did 20 kills, they won with a sliver left lol.

Okay, today i killed 6.3 with reserve strv and got God mode. So it must now be above 5 BR's. Eh, fair enough i guess.

Think someone has mentioned there is a limit how many you can earn at X amount of time. There certainly is a limit per battle at least. As you can earn only once per battle.

Iv also had situation where i definitely killed someone that was +5 higher tank and it only gave me skill matters. So im incline to believe there is a limit.

if it's true then it sucks really badly, they already limit them to 1 per battle.

Okay, seems i cracked it, today i killed PTZ89 with sdkfz 234/2 and that is 8.7, got god mode. So now it's definitely 5.3 BR and above.
