Your only other option is to put in a ticket about the issue, though I can guess they will probably ask if you have tried linking your Steam & Gaijin accounts which requires both accounts to have the same email address.

It says the the email address is already in use

you will have to submit a ticket on this issue then, its the only way for this to be resolved since all we can do is give advice

I changed my password and it put my back to the login screen after, setting me log in to the right account.

i actually also solved it by just opening the game from the manual update and it took me to login screen

I was fuming so hard, trying to get this ♥♥♥♥ heap to let me log in to the account I WANT to play on.
SOLUTION IS FOLLOWING
1-right click on WT in steam library
2-go to properties>launch options
3- set it to "LAUNCH MANUAL GAME UPDATE"

This will force the game to launch via the launcher.exe showing you the sacred login screen. You will lose the option to get the steam achievements tho. But it´s a price I am willing to pay.
PS: WT´s GUI is driving me ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ insane
