By all means I don’t think gaijin should have free rein to make stuff up, but they have changed their standards over the years and gotten rid of the most egregious examples where viable alternatives exist. No they don’t get outright removed from player’s inventory because that is a PR disaster but preventing new people getting them has seen them become increasingly rare
Some like the Japanese r2y2s don’t have much chance of being removed unfortunately simply because no alternative ever existed so removing them now would completely remove a capability from Japanese players, that is something I can live with
You sound like you just hate world of tanks and have a personal bias against it as if you're in the War Thunder tribe and the big bad World of Tanks tribe next door might steal your mangos and starve your village.
I could really get into how Gaijin PROBABLY planned everything for monetization ahead of time, false scarcity of "rare" vehicles that aren't even good that you can then sell to other players, but only through a first party currency you have to buy with cash. How so many fake/paper/prototype vehicles end up on the gaijin market, or how they sell a reskinned versionn of a vehicle in another tech tree for $70 that World of Tanks just has as a normal vehicle or a $5 tier 5 premium. But I won't. That'd be just terrible of me.
Tell me your IQ is below 80 without telling me your IQ is below 80.
If you go to count, Russia has more "fake" tanks in the terms of this video, than Germany. You must be very ignorant to fully disregard that.
Every single game ever made takes liberties with reality, even the hardest mil sims, it’s just the degree and the fact that arma doesn’t depict perfectly accurate field medicine, triage and casevac doesn’t make it any more an arcade game.
I have some bad news for you that physics engines don’t actually use real world physics either but use shortcuts because real to life physics engines are both less efficient and don’t actually add any fun
when you press w there is not a physically simulated human pressing there foot down on a phyically simulated pedal, with the engine sumulating fuel-air chemical reactions to drive a drive shaft etc etc
some abstraction is absolutely always necessary and if your personal threshold differs from that of the game doesnt make everything all the same arcade experience. Your position has no nuance
Crazy how many NATO vehicles are still missing armor and tech that they're confirmed to have after years of Gaijin "looking into it" but a certain union of soviets has prototypes from 2023 as premium vehicles at lower than 12.0. :)
Crazy how they can confirm the exact specifications of a vehicle that wasn't completed until this year, that's been out for longer than it's been completed.
For air, there are a few legacy planes that didn't exist in the completed form we have in game (the R2Y jets series being a well known example) and I think the Ki-200 IIRC since Japan didn't have anything to use until later on, and again with their F-16 which is more less based off a sales brochure.
he is literally called gopnik of course he is BIASED for Russia...
