bro can go through IS-6/Maus like its butter but cant deal any damage internally
also it got its 12.7 after 2 major updates so its a +
Why bother disabling when other tanks can get the one hit ko with a lot less effort
Ive gone back to playing my IS6 so I can at least have "fun"
I use it to grind the whole tier4 and next tier5. You just don't know how to use HEAT.
10/10 response, very informative.
You should know how simple projectile work in this game. HEAT has high drop rate and it need to aim carefully. But high drop rate can make it shoo like artillery too. It can shoot across the dune while enemy can't shoot back. If it hit, it always pen. At 6.0 don't have any ERA or stupid shape tank. If that HEAT is big enough, it will pen. Like other said, other HEAT/HEATFS in higher tier might be worse than M-51.
IDK how u play it but my preferred way of playing the M-51s in RB is being as a support tank as well as shooting at targets at a distance while being in cover due to the gun's low velocity while trying to hit critical areas of the enemy tank. Meanwhile, in AB its just a Sherman with HEAT and most of tactics in RB and my experience with the US Shermans still relate to it except I shoot where important of the areas of the tank are (Gunner's location/Turret and Ammo).
