The new Churchill IV has APHE M61 rounds but the Churchill VII doesn't?
So both the new Churchill IV and the VII have the same gun firing the same M61 rounds, yet the M61 rounds on the IV have 63.7g of explosive filler whilst the same round on the Churchill VII is just solid shot? Is this a bug or am I missing something?

Did you do research, like any before posting?

Becuse the Churchill 4 NA uses both the mantlet and the gun from the M4 Sherman.

Idk if original Churchills could fire US made shells (i would say they could) but Churchill NA uses american cannon so it gets APHE

All of those short 75mm cannons in the British tree already fire American shells, with the filler taken out. They're absolutely all capable of firing the same shells, but in British service APHE rounds had their filler removed and replaced with inert material, since IRL all filler did was make rounds more likely to shatter or prematurely fragment.

Ok, allow me to explain. Both the Churchill IV and VII use the 75mm OQF MK.V gun which is the British designation for the shermans 75mm M3 gun heres the direct quote from the wiki "The 75 mm OQF Mk.V or Ordnance Quick-Firing Mk.V is a British tank gun used during World War II. The basis of the gun was essentially a OQF 6-pounder gun with a new 75 mm barrel, firing the same ammunition as the American 75 mm guns on the M4 Sherman. It was easily mounted onto British tanks that used the 6-pounder due to the similar mountings." and heres the gun in game.

now both guns are identical, and so are their rounds as seen below they both have M61 rounds.

Yet despite having the same gun, firing the same ammunition one of them gets explosive filler on the round. Now would you say that is enough research?

Yes, it is enough. Reason for that was stated above. The brits removed the HE filler as it wasnt that useful IRL unlike in WT.

So either Gaijin heavly buffs solid shot spall damage (realistic and I wish they do) or gives the british HE filler (good possibility)
