Yo guys beware of this new clever way of possibly getting your gaijin account hacked
so basically, i was online on steam at one point and out of NOWHERE my friend who seems to be really concerned sent me messages of ''HELP'' spammed everwhere. I messaged him saying ''what?'' then he replied with ''bro i think my war thunder gaijin account's email address is compromised, i got an alert from my google password manager just now'' i was in shock, i said ''wth?!! how?'' then he replied ''i got greedy, i think its because i visited a free maxed- out account website and used one of their emails and passwords for the free accounts, when i tried logging in with a certain account with the given information from that website, it said that gaijin sent a two step authentication via email verification code to that email owner''

so yeah guys i think because if you try to login someone else's account from a ''free'' account website, dont do it!! because if that email owner of the gaijin account has two step authentication via email turned on then whenever you try to login on their ''FREE'' account, that two step authentication via email will trigger and gaijin will send a two step authentication via email with your IP address and your own email address included!!!! this can lead to that person using your email address to ask gaijin to change the password of your account then take it away from you, i think.

so yeah guys, BE AWARE, GREED LEADS TO DANGER

Yes this has been an on going thing, never trust other links. I even work in the Cyber Security field as new email phishes are always popping up. There's others for CSGO like rate up my skin so they make u sign in on their website and what not. Just don't click links people send you even sometimes friends.

There's nothing clever about any of that, if someone is stupid enough to go to OR use any of those "free" shady sites, its all on them. There are always idiots who fall for those scams, etc.

Please do never ever log in on a Account ist not yours! This counts as Account Sharing and is against the Gaijin Term of use and EULA. If you do that, your Account could/will be banned without any chance to get it back!!!!!!!!¨

So, for the next time, DONT DO IT!

Please tell your friend to contact the Gaijin Support, these are only only guys that can help you!
