Nice to see someone I reported on the Banned list
I was in a game the other day and this guy - on my team - was doing very well... a little too well considering the map.

I watched the server replay later and it sure as hell looks like he knows the location of enemy players as he kills them though bushes etc.
I report him and go on with my day.

But due today's list of Banned players I just want to say it is really nice to see his name on there. It helps to know that taking time to report suspicious behaviour is actually investigated and actions taken.

For once; Thank you Gaijin.

That's neat. I had no idea a banned list existed.

The "Renamed6463166" names are for people who had offensive names. These people have been banned. Permanently I hope.

- Continue to think so. And the creatures that someone still caught and catches. So they will continue to play for their pleasure. They just pay enough. Money is more important.

Have to wonder what these people were banned for, many of them are older accounts with pretty lackluster stats.

older accs were likely compromised.

Did they restart the name and shame list? Looks like they did! Good to see they're addressing intwntional TK'ers too.

really amused that so many are so insecure about being kept in the dark they need gaijin to do this again

meanwhile the best way to work against cheaters is not to advertise and provide free publicity for the cheats and their developers yourself while working in the background against them but i hope this bandaid makes you all feel better at least

It's not about being insecure it's about knowing that the time you take to report cheaters isn't wasted. Clearly their anti-cheat isn't doing a great job, so they kinda of still rely on player reports.

they never stopped... this is how they have always done it, they never removed the report system

you dont put up one flimsy fence and trust that it is a 100% solution

but people are so insecure they cant either check on the people they report, or if they cant be bothered trust that the reports are doing somthing

next we will be getting complaints from newbies that report people for killing them in ways they dont understand that the 'rampant cheaters' are not getting banned, all for things that any experienced player would know not to be anything of the sort

talking about it is just a whole can of worms, and now outsiders hearing the developers themselves talk about cheats in their game go looking for said cheats

I never suggested they removed the report system, they just stopped putting up the name and shame list once they introduced EAC.

As far as newbies making false claims, hopefully because you need to report via the server replay they will actually notice if it was legit kill or not. Yes there are a lot of inexperienced players crying foul play on the forums and reddit but they generally never watched the replay.

And you suggest that now players will be looking for cheats, but do you not think on the flip side this would act as a deterrent? Would you really want to risk losing an account that has several premium vehicles or rare event vehicles, not to mention the time you have invested into it?

if you think the people cheating are not buying stolen accounts for a fraction of what their original owners payed gaijin i have news for you

there are huge markets for this sort of thing if you are aware, and now everyone is
