FPS drops

When I am in light cruiser it drops to 9fps. It has been that way after one of the updates last month.

i am playing on a 4090 and even if i drop setting to medium with many things turned off, in naval i drop to 20 fps sometimes

Dagor engine literally maxes only 1 thread of your CPU. This applies for war thunder and enlisted but because war thunder has more calculations, armor, shell, etc, its more affected by fps drops. This gets worse the worse your CPU is.

Thats the nature of unoptimized games... To be honest, if gaijin really wants to get rid of this FPS drop issue, they'd probably need to do a massive change to something because when a another game with the same engine has the same problem, that means the issue lies in the core.

They should change the game runs so it wont cause this issue why is it utilizing the cpu?

Apparently the previous comment said it's because of all the calculations, you dont use GPU for that, game seems to be CPU- heavy because of this then?
