Do your dailies in 1-2 hours, and buy your special. Then when you have more time to play, you can do any of the specials at your pace. You can have multiple ready to purchase.
These threads usually bring up people saying "all you need to do is log in every day to complete the battle pass," then after being called out it became "all you need to do is log in, do a few daily tasks," followed by "log in, do all your dailies, and complete a few challenges." These people are all delusional. You'd have to spend 2-4+ hours playing a day, every day, while also completing all your dailies and most (if not all) of the challenges to complete the battle pass. Anyone that says otherwise is trying to convince themselves that they aren't wasting massive amounts of time and money on the game to feel better about their life choices lol. Try it yourself, logging in every days and doing most and dailies and a few challenges will only get you to level ~30-40.
By "complete" you must mean the full level 150(or 148 this bp for some reason)? Because getting to 51 for the free vehicle is really easy. , 75 for top one hasn't been a problem for me any bp either. But I guess this is more of the WT mentality of "Wuuah I want everything but I don't want to pay nor play"
I assume the more you pay them, the more you get as a f2p player.
(Before you think I'm lying, it's been tested)
What?
Not everyone is a basement dweller that can sit in front of their PC for 6 hours straight every day.
The battle pass is for daily addicts, not for people who have a life. If you could plan ahead and maybe set a Sunday away for a longer gaming session then it would be fine, but the current format uses FOMO and urgency to get people to grind daily, which is simply not feasible for people who do things besides playing War Thunder.
Of course they could just sell the vehicles like they do with other Premiums, but then people wouldn't get the chance to pay money so they can work as lobby fillers and waiting time reducers.
And you're correct, the battle pass IS for people who have extra time to dedicate to this game/hobby. That's why it isn't a requirement to play an otherwise free game.
And at the end of the battle pass season, the vehicles are for sale...
This is not grinding.
Yes, and that ends up being >2 hours for experienced players and closer to 3-4+ hours for the average player. The reality is that the battle pass takes hundreds of hours to complete if you're not progressing with your wallet. Argue all you want, but this is the reality of the situation. Not many people will have 2+ hours to play EVERY DAY because have lives outside of work + War Thunder, a social life, hobbies, and responsibilities.
Easy- destroy 1 base
Medium destroy 4 bases
My special was 15 bases. I did 8 yesterday in 5 missions (little more then an hour. I had already done my specials so I waited till this morning for the new ones got 2 bases which finish the easy and brought special to 10 Then 3 missions with 5 bases that finished both medium and special. Had 22 hours before new dailies so bought special "win 8 battles with +50 activity" I will finish that before tomorrow.
I am at level 50 in battle pass currently.
The fact I had almost 22 hours before new dailies tells just how fast they were done.
Naval
easy-do 9k damage
medium-18k
special 50k by time you finish daily you have at least 27k of special
easy-sink 1 ship
medium -sink 10
special-sink 25 (by the time you finish the daily you have at least 11 of the special
Air
easy-1 base
medium 4 bases
special 15 bases
I don't really like any task that has "win" in the title but the ones that start "play a battle"
Be in top 5, top 3 top 2 are easy
+100
I don't even play this game, but I know Gaijin is pretty ♥♥♥♥... not just Gaijin either but most game companies these days are all on the Pay To Win/Predatory Grinding Progression System and Battlepass ♥♥♥♥. If it weren't for all the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ P2W mechanics and online only "Games as a Service" type of crap, perhaps I would of tried this game.
