Reduce KV-2 reload rate.
I think KV-2 deserves this.

Reduce kv-2 reload rate to 4 seconds

It could probably go down a few seconds given how unreliable HE is.

Or give it an Autoload like SAV 20.12.48:2018bestaward:

It's an entirely reasonable suggestion but there's a problem.

Gaijin has put a lot of effort over the past couple of years into stabilizing German rb win rates between 3.7 and 6.7 where they used to struggle quite a bit.

Because of this, any sort of non-trivial Allied buff in that range will likely need to be followed by an equal, if not greater, Axis buff to keep those WR's from getting so far out of balance again.

So, TL;DR if you want to give the KV-2 a sub 30 second reload then you'll need to move the Sturmmörser to 3.7 and give it an autoloader.

the sturm tiger has no reason to be at the same br as the KV2 even if the KV2's reload was reduced.

I'm clearly being facetious when I recommend an auto-loaded Sturmmörser but you really would have to bump the kv-2 up a bit in br or move something in the Axis tree down if you reduced its reload by more than a trivial amount.

It's not that buffing the KV-2 is unjustified, it absolutely is for the reason Illusionyary pointed out. The issue is all those t-34's and KV-1's that it gets paired with.

Any buff to the KV-2 is also a buff to them as far as avg win rates are concerned. Since that's a huge factor in what vehicles get BR adjustments per patch you can end up with with a domino effect that quickly takes you right back to where you started.

Technically the kv2 shouldn't have full turret traverse as it was very unsafe to fire from the side with cases of it just falling over yet unlike other vehicles that suffered from that its turret traverse is not restricted. The snail is already being quite generous with the kv2 as is

I mean something like that is for gameplay purposes, the KV-2 had a full rotation historically so it does in-game, even if it was top heavy and could fall over if turned on a hill.

The M56 for example usually had the crew disembark before firing due to the massive amounts of recoil produced on a light chassis. Its just gameplay. It wouldn't be very fun if firing the KV-2 side on or turning the turret on a slope led to it toppling over lol.

There is one KV-2 variant with faster reload though, that thing is rarer than the Maus.

The 107mm ZiS6? If so, yeah it's quite good. With an ace crew it's reload is just north of 15 seconds iirc.

No it wouldnt be fun for the kv2 player but it would be very entertaining for everyone else. To be clear i do think it should have full turret traverse im just sad that that i dont get to see them flip.
