Account Hacked

Hi all,

I've just logged into my account for the first time for around 2 months. Only to be surprised with a 12 day login bonus. I've changed my passwords for both my e-mail and Gaijin account, does this mean my account is now safe and requiring them to enter the password on their side? or will they still be able to access through Auto-Login? The IP address takes the location to Moscow, Russia, but would say its a high chance they have a VPN due to the IP address changing frequently but still in Moscow.

Luckily for me they evidently couldn't change my password because they would of done so. They have unlocked vehicles for me, which is also a bonus but they have spent my golden eagles (don't think I had many only around 5-600).

I just need to know if my account is now safe.

They will check your account.
Most probably someone got your account because your e-mail login/password leaked somewhere (you can check it via google).

Be glad you didn't lose access to the account. The recovery process through Gaijin is a bloody nightmare. Similar thing happened though, im pretty sure whoever hacked it sold it someone, because that person then bought a ton of GE and unlocked like half of the german tech tree basically overnight. When i got my account back finally i had 0 SL and 0 GE but i had went from German 6.3 to German 9.7 lol

Sure, if it hadn't taken like 2 weeks and 51 emails to recover the account i suppose it could of been considered a blessing lol.

Makes me hesitant to spend money on the game now though. lol

XD, you can't have it all either. but you are right to be careful and not to invest any more money. ;)

Support needs to be 100% that you are the owner of the account. That's why sometimes it can take a little effort to get all the evidences.
Still, always use 2step authentication, be sure to have strong and protected e-mail address and nothing will happen to you (in any game, not only WT).
